Successful Funding Received from Northants Police Fire and Crime Commissioner
Little Harrowden PC have been awarded funds for a new mobile, solar powered Vehicle Activated Speed device that we will be using to make sure our village roads are safe for pedestrians and to help educate cars to drive slowly and carefully
Published: 23 February 2026

With traffic through Little Harrowden increasing as a result of the nearby development of Glenvale as well as other logistics and housing estates, and drivers using the village as a through-route, we are extremely grateful to have secured this vital funding.
This new mobile speed sign will give us an essential tool to protect our residents, schoolchildren and vulnerable road users, helping to keep our community safer now and into the future as well as help encourage drivers to slow down and think.
